THE CREATORS
After EJ Sepp and Pammy Salmon knocked out The Super’s pilot script, The Fall they realized they had something more than just a fast-paced script laced with physical comedy and witty banter - they had the beginnings of a series. More and more stories started to form about their zany fish-out-of-water characters, Catherine and Peter Bennington, and their foray into the working class. Throw in some nosy neighbors, a building full of eccentric wealthy tenants, and two sympathetic accomplices and they had show ideas - lots and lots of wacky sitcom ideas. The Supers mixes the style of The Jeffersons and the irreverence of 30Rock into a stew of hilarity. And it's getting some notice. The Fall has placed as a quarterfinalist in both NexTV's Writing and Pitch Competition and the 17th Annual Writers Network Screenplay & Fiction Competition.
Pammy Salmon has written for television shows such as Martha Speaks, Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!, Super Why!, JoJo's Circus, Stanley, and Pinky Dinky Doo. She writes sketch comedy segments for Sesame Street English DVDs, in addition to promos and interstitials airing on PBS Kids and pbskids.org. Her quirky animated series, Norman’s Nose is currently in development. Pammy is a consultant on animated and live-action development projects, and has a background in animation and film production.
EJ Sepp writes absurdist plays and has written/directed the short film, Krants, currently in post-production. His screenplay, Homeland, made the Nicholls Fellowship Top 400 and was a quarterfinalist in the 1998 Chesterfield Screenwriting competition. He's currently working on two feature screenplays and serves as a script consultant and copy editor.
